For over a decade he worked as a business architect in the reinsurance industry, designing models, business processes and software systems for pricing, internal models, economic scenario generation, and operational risk, including positions at Swiss Re, Converium, and Scor.
Noticing the lack of standard software in this area, Roland founded Systemorph to provide an agile software platform serving the needs of the financial industry for managing their business data.
Thomas received his PhD in theoretical physics from University of Berne in 2002. Afterwards, he worked as researcher in statistical physics at University of Rome “La Sapienza”, University of Paris-Sud in Orsay, and Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris.
In 2012 he joined the Systemorph team as a Senior Application Architect. His main fields of expertise are algorithms, numerical simulations, statistics, and data analysis.
Pedro is an expert in risk and data management, with 11 years of experience in the financial industry. Previous to joining Systemorph, Pedro headed the Risk Analytics & Reporting team at SIX, the owner of the Swiss Stock Exchange and financial infrastructure provider, where he was responsible for quantifying and reporting risks across all business areas. Before that, he held various positions in the hedge fund, private equity, and risk data industries.
Pedro holds a PhD in theoretical Physics from Rutgers University and frequently holds presentations and courses.
Daniel has several years of experience in the reinsurance industry. He started his career as a pricing actuary, where he developed tools and systems for non-life reinsurance.
Afterwards, he moved into treaty underwriting and structuring, working for different markets and lines of business. During this time, he became an expert at costing models and marketing complex reinsurance transactions.
Daniel currently works at Systemorph as Head of Product Strategy and IFRS 17 Initiative Lead.
Markus has been working in the Financial Services Industry for more than 20 years. He held positions at Arthur Andersn, Digital Equipment Corporation, SAP, Microsoft and additiv and has broad experience in various business areas such as audit, finance, controlling, sales, marketing, business development as well as partner & alliance management. His key priorities in the last years have been to help financial services companies in Switzerland and Europe find their way into the digital area.
Markus holds a Master of Business Administration of the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.
He is currently supporting Systemorph as Head Business Development & Sales and at the same time takes care of Finance Operations.
Gabriel has several years of experience in the Reinsurance business. He started his career as a modeller for the Casualty business at Swiss Re. He was responsible for a variety of pricing tools projects and built and led for 3 years the Model Implementation team in Casualty R&D.
Gabriel currently works at Systemorph as the Head of Customer Projects & People Operations.
