Systemorph, Baloise and other insurance industry leaders will be in the spotlight at a London conference highlighting progress and successes around implementation of new reporting process to comply with the IFRS 17 global standard.
The third annual edition of marcus evans’ conference “Managing Insurance Contracts under IFRS 17” takes place on 11-13 March 2020 in London.
CEO and founder Dr. Roland Bürgi will deliver a presentation focused on how implementing IFRS 17 reporting processes can bring benefits that extend beyond complying with the new standard.
Going into effect in 2022, IFRS 17 represents one of the most significant changes in how the insurance industry approaches data management and reporting. IFRS 17 requires a transformation in how data is collected, aggregated, analyzed and reported.
Roland’s presentation, “The potential to leverage existing IFRS 17 investments way beyond IFRS 17 compliance,” will take place on the first day of the conference at 11:15 a.m. He will cover the status of ongoing IFRS 17 compliance projects and explore use cases and potential benefits for data reporting beyond core IFRS 17 compliance processes.
Immediately following Roland’s session, he will join a panel session moderated by Martin Buess, Systemorph’s Head Sales & Presales. The panel session will focus on “Leveraging IFRS 17 beyond Compliance? Potential Use Cases and Strategies to create value beyond compliance.“
In addition to Roland and Martin, the panel will feature Martin Schmid from Baloise to discuss:
- How can Insurance companies leverage the significant investments in IFRS 17 to create value beyond compliance?
- What are potential use cases?
- What are effective strategies and timing?
Martin Buess will also participate in a panel session on the second day of the conference to explore more specifics around the reporting requirements of IFRS 17 compliance implementations.
In addition to presenting our findings in conference presentations, the Systemorph team will be exhibiting at the conference along with our IFRS 17 compliance partner Synpulse.
