Systemorph to Present Challenges and Solutions for IFRS 17 Reporting Implementation

London – Systemorph founder and CEO Dr. Roland Bürgi will present lessons learned from the implementation of systems to comply with the new IFRS 17 regulation at an upcoming industry conference.

The Marcus Evans conference “2nd Annual Managing Contracts under IFRS 17” will be held in London on March 11-13 and will focus on developing appropriate controls, systems and models to comply with IFRS 17.

IFRS 17 is the global standard for insurance financial reporting to go into effect in 2022. Systemorph’s data management product automates and simplifies the end-to-end gathering, calculation, analysis and reporting of data for IFRS 17 compliance.

Dr. Bürgi will deliver a presentation titled “IFRS 17 system implementation at a global insurance group: Status and learnings.” He will discuss the status of an ongoing implementation project, describe the challenges and solutions, and demonstrate an IFRS 17 reporting system.

He also will join a panel discussion with Allianz SE & Swiss Re to focus on “Updating finance and actuary systems to be IFRS 17 ready.” The discussion will cover the impact on core insurance, investment, actuarial and reporting systems, and will describe changes, flexibility requirements and new system functionalities and features for IFRS 17.
